I feel the hurt,
it digs into my bones.
I say it's okay,
that it's fine, I'm sure.
But when I see you walk by,
I say
"The hurt, the hurt;
it hurts so bad!
The scars
from you
are no fad."

I try to forget
but my mind just won't let
me relieve the scars.
My eyes
they burn
when I remember the pain.
Boy, are you insane?

'Cause when I see you walk buy, I say,
"The hurt! The hurt!
It hurts so bad.
The scars
from you
are no fad!"

I don't really know what to say... But the hurt, the hurt, it hurts so bad. :(
Oh, and this is about domestic abuse. They already broke up, and they don't see each other anymore, but the girl can't stop thinking about it.
